Subpage Header

Subpages form the bulk of a website’s content. Content on subpages tends to be more utility-focused and more text-heavy. Unlike landing page headers, subpage headers do not require an image and are less visually impactful.

Subpage headers will display the page’s title in addition to short introductory text. The intro text will be displayed with a text size slightly larger than the page’s body copy. The intro copy should provide a brief one to three sentence synopsis of the page’s content.

An image can be optionally provided. It will display between the page’s intro copy and its main content.

A subpage header should be used for almost all second- and third-level pages.

Tip: You can toggle between subpage and landing page headers without reinserting the header’s content. Both headers accept the same three elements: page title, intro text, and an image. Changing the header style simple alters how the content is displayed.
