Join us for our 11th Leadership and Innovation Showcase. At the Showcase, undergraduate and graduate student teams will present innovative solutions to business and social challenges across a variety of disciplines, including entrepreneurship, supply chain management, business analytics and marketing. Martineau and Mount began the conversation with an overview of the progress women have made in leadership roles, including examples from their own careers, some of which provided data they incorporated into their book.

Wolfpack students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents and friends made more than 10,000 individual gifts on NC State’s first-ever Day of Giving March 27, contributing $13.5 million to support student success, infrastructure, research and academics, including more than $600,000 to Poole College.

Mark Baxter Receives Inaugural Distinguished MAC Alumni Award
 
Mark Baxter received his bachelor’s degree in accounting in 1996 at Poole and his master’s in accounting in 1998 through the Jenkins MAC program. He was recognized at the MAC program’s 25th Anniversary Celebration Reception held on April 4.

NC State Student AMA Chapter Hosts First Regional Conference: Accelerate your Marketing Career
 
The conference, held on March 30 at the SKEMA Business School’s Raleigh campus, drew 85 AMA student chapter members from five universities in the southeast U.S. region. The event provided opportunities for student AMA members to learn from marketing professionals, including Owen Pierce, account strategist with Google. We're proud that students from Poole and other colleges at NC State won in the three competitions, modeled after those in the AMA International Collegiate Conference.

NC State Executive Education has introduced a new programming series called SME Short Sessions that provides half-day professional development training sessions for companies. The catalog of sessions—all taught by NC State’s leading Subject Matter Experts—covers topics in leadership, innovation, data science, and technical skills.
