African American Cultural Center Brings Activist and Author Brittney Cooper to NC State
In partnership with Interdisciplinary Studies, the Women’s Center, Student Leadership and Engagement, the College of Textiles and the WISE Living and Learning Village, the African American Cultural Center announces Brittney Cooper as our 30th Anniversary Celebration Kickoff keynote speaker.

Acclaimed author, college professor, cultural critic, and activist Brittney Cooper, Ph.D., will speak at Talley Student Union Ballroom from 6–8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 22, 2021. The talk is open to students, faculty, staff and the community. Seating may be limited due to COVID protocols; please register and arrive early.
