As October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, it is important to remind the campus community that NC State strives to ensure that students, faculty, staff and visitors are safe and free from any form of dating violence, domestic violence or interpersonal violence.
Should you experience or witness any type of dating, domestic or interpersonal violence, you have the option to file a report with NC State University and/or the police (e.g, NC State Police or local municipality).
Filing a report helps to inform the university of concerning behavior or conduct impacting our community and permits outreach to those directly impacted to promote their safety and well-being. It also initiates discussion of supportive measures that may be available and enables us to provide information regarding further action and response. |
