All four of the Campus Community Centers will open their doors to welcome visitors at their annual open houses on Tuesday, August 21, 2018.
On Tuesday, the African American Cultural Center will also officially open its newly renovated space. The office completed its transformation to an open plan with new furnishings, paint and carpeting and the addition of a new spacious, digitally-equipped meeting room just in time for the new academic year.
The Women’s Center will host the 16th Annual NC State Chocolate Festival for Breast Cancer Research on Friday, September 28, 2018 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. in Talley Student Union’s State Ballroom.
Multicultural Student Affairs will host its inaugural Multicultural Graduate Student Orientation to familiarize students from historically underserved groups with the resources and support infrastructure available to them.
The Office for Institutional Equity and Diversity invites all students, staff and faculty to attend our fall signature events. We look forward to welcoming the NC State community to these events throughout the semester.
The GLBT Center invites students, faculty and staff to join the Social Justice Cohort, which will explore concepts of race, gender, sexuality, ability, age, religion, social justice, privilege, power and oppression.
In collaboration with NCSU Libraries and the Farm Labor Organizing Committee, Multicultural Student Affairs hosted renowned poet, short story writer, novelist and essayist Sandra Cisneros.
