Dr. Dan Adams is the associate vice chancellor, Campus Enterprises. Dr. Adams has an extensive background in university administration, most recently at the University of Arizona, where he served as associate vice president for the division of Student Affairs. His experience provides a broad base of knowledge of retail operations, facilities planning, contract development, as well as an understanding of the technical aspects of auxiliary services operations.
Richard Hayes is senior director for financial services, Campus Enterprises. In his position, he oversees accounting and cash operations for the division and directs the NC State Bookstores, a position he has held this position for 25 years. Heis also responsible for Wolf Xpress Copy & Print Services. A 1977 graduate of NC State University, he has 33 years of retail experience.
Mr. Hayes was the Chair of the Independent College Bookstore Association (a North American association of independent college stores) and has chaired the North Carolina Association of College Stores. The bookstore has received numerous national awards for excellence in college bookstore financial management.
Randy Lait is senior director of hospitality services, Campus Enterprises. In addition to directing University Dining, he leads the development of campus hospitality initiatives as well as the marketing and public relations initiatives. Mr. Lait has worked in University Dining since 1984 in a number of roles, including operations manager and business officer.
Mr. Lait served on the board of directors of the National Association of College and University Food Services (NACUFS) and was chair of the 2002 National Conference for the organization. He is a 1984 graduate of NC State University's College of Management.
Gregg Zarnstorff, director, Trademark Licensing. Mr. Zarnstorff is responsible for protecting, promoting and merchandising university trademarks. He has more than 25 years of experience in retail product management, marketing, product development and trademark licensing for many brands, including Browning, Winchester and Remington.
Mr. Zarnstorff works internally with student organizations and university departments approving designs that use the university’s trademarks. He also works with the Licensing Resource Group which helps manage and market the university’s more-than 480 commercial licenses.
Chip Watson is the general manager and director of golf at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course at NC State University. Mr. Watson has served as a PGA Professional for 20 years and recently served as the vice president of operations for Carolinas Golf Group.
Mr. Watson serves as the Assistant Men's Golf Coach at NC State and is one of the lead instructors at the Wolfpack Junior Golf Schools. He has served on the PGA President’s Council for Growing the Game of Golf and was the 2006 John L. Fennie State Cup Award winner.
